Abstract
This article provides information about the thoughts of the state and public figure, historian Mirzo Salimbek, who worked in the Bukhara Emirate at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, about the history of the Russian state, his trip to the Russian Empire, and his impressions in the work "Kashkuli Salimiy also history of past and present".

Introduction.
The wave of rapid changes that took place in the world at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century did not bypass the countries of Central Asia. A number of representatives of the local population returned to the central cities of Europe and the Russian Empire and wrote down their travels in their memoirs. A number of ambassadors from the Emirate of Bukhara left behind valuable information for their contemporaries about the culture, development and history of the countries they visited. This article focuses on the opinions of Mirzo Salimbek, who was part of the ambassadors of Amir Abdulkhad Khan, about the history of the Russian state and his travels.
