Understanding and anticipating classroom management problems
By the end of this module you will be able to:

  • define rapport, its importance in the classroom and how to build it

  • write clear instructions to minimize misunderstanding in the classroom

  • list strategies to deal with problems arising from group dynamics and mixed ability classes.

Unit 1 – Defining rapport


By the end of this first unit of the module, you'll be able to define rapport, and understand its importance in the classroom and how to build it.

Unit 2 – Giving clear instructions


By the end of this second unit of the module, you'll be able to write clear instructions to minimize misunderstanding in the classroom.

Unit 3 – Working as a group and mixed-ability classes


By the end of this third unit of the module, you’ll be able to list strategies to deal with problems arising from group dynamics and mixed-ability classes.
