International Relations is a very old field of study that grew out of politics and history many centuries ago.

IR does not deal with domestic contexts within a particular territory, but focuses on how this territory (state 
or region) links in with other territories.

IR focuses on everything that is above the state, that flows above one government`s jurisdiction.

IR tries to identify the causes of why certain things happen and goes deeper into those things which no 
newspaper article can give us.

diplomacy, into international economic relations and become a statesperson, a decision-maker.
