- Present a video of yourself in the beginning of your video. You must be seen in the beginning and heard speaking. After that, you are free to present as you wish.
Identify the issue in form of a question which should be confirmed by your lecturer. Explain why you and your community is interested in the issue, how the issue relates to you and what you know about the issue. Provide context to the issue from a local and global perspective. Use research papers or local news websites (a list of recommended local sources will be provided). You may also show the issue in your video as evidence. Include the current position on the issue (state of practice), the history of debate and different stakeholders’ perspectives (political, social, cultural, etc.). You may also decide to conduct small interviews to get perspectives of the local community. Include at least 2-3 sources with appropriate oral citations or have 2-3 evidence present in your video. Make sure that the video is not larger than 50 MB and is in .mp4 format. Present a video of yourself in the beginning of your video. You must be seen in the beginning and heard speaking. After that, you are free to present as you wish.
NOTE: Your video will be assessed on quality of the content presented. Visual effects, music and other video-editing tools are optional. Make sure that you can be understood and the images/videos/audio you are presenting are clear. Entry 2 Entry 2 should be made in a written report of 600-700 words, as a continuation of Entry 1. Find 4-5 sources in support of your inquiry about the arguments regarding the issue: arguments for and arguments against your issue. Refer to 4-5 sources with appropriate in-text citations. Discuss argumentation for (including at least 1 local and 1 global) and against (including at least 1 local and 1 global) regarding your issue, for a total of 4-6 arguments. Weigh the arguments for and against in order to reach a judgement on your issue. Conclude your thoughts on the issue, reflect whether your understanding of the issue improved after conducting this inquiry. If possible, offer suggested actions on the issue. Provide a draft version of Entry 1 and Entry 2 during TW8. A Progress Check form will be filled by your lecturer. Reference list for both Entry 1 and Entry 2. You must divide the reference lists into separate sections. In case you have appendices, attach them to Entry 2.
For your final submission on the 6th of December 2023, by 23:55 you will be required to submit the following TWO files to the intranet which includes: Entry 1 – Video (Issue and Context) Entry 2 – Written Arguments (Argumentation and Closure) Reference List for both entries Appendices (If used) AI chat log.
