Proceedings Requirements


ICEL Proceedings paper guidelines

  • All Conference Proceedings Papers MUST be submitted in PDF (editable and not password protected), double-spaced, in 12-point Times New Roman font. 

  • Please begin with the following elements: 
    1. TITLE (bold, all caps). 
    2. Author Name(s), University Affiliation(s) – No titles (Dr., Mr., Ms., etc.) should be used, nor should rank be indicated. 
    3. E-mail Address. 
    4. Keywords: Please provide a list of 4-5 keys words.
    5. Description: Please provide a one (1) sentence description of your paper.

  • Please then standardize the organization and content of your Conference Paper in accordance with the following headings:

  1. Empirical (see also a separate template on page 2)
    1. Heading One: Problem Statement (a topic, an issue, Research Question) (bold, left-aligned, title caps)* 
    2. Heading Two: Method/s and Data (bold, left-aligned, title caps)*

3. Heading Three: Findings Statement (bold, left-aligned, title caps)*
4. Heading Four: Key Conclusions and Contributions (bold, left-aligned, title caps)* 

  1. Nonempirical (see also a separate template on page 3)



1. Heading One: Problem Statement (a topic, an issue, a focus, a purpose) (bold, left-aligned, title caps)* 
2. Heading Two: Goal Statement (bold, left-aligned, title caps) *
3. Heading Three: Methodology statement (description of the process) (bold, left-aligned, title caps)* 
4. Heading Four: Key Conclusions and Contributions (bold, left-aligned, title caps)* 

*Word limit: The articles should not exceed 1500-2000 word limit excluding references.

  1. Please follow the Westminster Harvard Referencing Style for in-text as well as compiling the reference list. You may find more details in the attached guide.

  2. Please do not include any graphic elements (e.g., display equations, tables, figures, appendices) in the Conference Paper.

  3. Please ensure that the paper is thoroughly proofread to check the standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.

  4. We cannot guarantee that if you submit an article it will be published in ICEL conference proceedings. Only selected articles will be published.

  5. The Editor has the right to introduce editorial changes regarding language or layout (to comply in-house style).

  6. The Editor can suggest content changes or improvements.

Deadline for submitting your article is June 1, 2023. Please send your work at icel@wiut.uz
