Difference between the Participle II and the Participle I Simple
Passive
Participle II expresses merely a state, while
Participle I Indefinite
Passive expresses rather a progressive passive action represented as a state.
E.g.1. The letters
written
by my sister are difficult to read (Письма,
написанные...).
2. The letters
being written by the engineer will
be signed by the director
(Письма, которые сейчас пишет...).
