Scientific novelty of the research work is as follows:
It is shown by the example of the relations and mutual creative influence of Uzbek literature with sister literatures, in particular, Karakalpak literature, that living in the same region, language is close, cultures are common, commonalities in folklore and written literature, similarities in traditions, and most importantly, unity in historical roots is an important tool in the development of literary relations;
The important role of individual creators in the interaction between literatures is proved by the example of the work of writers and scholars who made a great contribution to the development of Uzbek and Karakalpak literary relations;
The tradition of creating in two languages not only expands the possibilities of poets-writers in the literary environment, but also gives a positive impetus to the development of two literatures;
It has been proven that poets and writers living in Karakalpakstan and writing works in Uzbek language have the main place to create works on the subject of Karakalpak, that the national color of Karakalpak is reflected in these works in comparison to the works of Uzbek artists from other regions;
It has been proved in the case of Uzbek-Karakalpak literary relations that mutual literary translations are one of the effective forms of developing literary relations that have passed the test of time.
Practical results of the research work are as follows:
The fact that the Uzbek and Karakalpak literary relations served as a school of creativity in the development of both literatures, in the activities of certain artists, and in mastering the secrets of artistic skills, was determined by the example of the works of a number of poets and writers;
it has been proven that individual creators play an important role in the establishment of communication between one literature and another, thanks to which new themes, forms, styles enter the literature, artistic translations are made, literary relations gain practical importance in the exchange of scientific experience;
it has been proven that the tradition of creating in two languages not only expands the possibilities of the poet or writer in the literary environment, but also contributes to the development of two literatures;
it has been determined that the more attention is paid to literary translation, the more the influence of literature on each other increases, enriching and serving each other's development;
It has been shown that the relations between Uzbek and Karakalpak literary studies are expanding, that the literary scholars of the two nations, while studying each other's works, think about the literary tradition, artistic translation, and mutual influence, as a result of which comparative literary studies develop, which serves the development of the literary studies of both nations;
In addition to recognizing the beginning of a new era in Karakalpak and Uzbek literary relations in the years of independence, it is proved that the creation of new works on the theme of friendship and brotherhood is the need of the hour.
