Problem development status. Issues of interaction and influence of literature, theoretical foundations are widely studied in world and Russian literary studies, and a lot of scientific experience has been accumulated. The researches of scientists such as N.I.Konrad, G.I.Lomidze, M.B.Khrapchenko, A.Bushmin, G.Gachechiladze, D.Dyurishin are characterized by the fact that they are directly devoted to the study of issues of literary communication, interaction and literary translation².
In Uzbek literary studies, the same topic has been researched in various aspects, a number of dissertations have been defended, and articles, books and scientific collections have been published. V.Zohidov, M.Koshjanov, A.Hayitmetov, Gʻ.Salomov, N.Komilov, F.Sulaymonova, R.Inoghomov, Sh.Turdiev, H.Muhammadkhojaev, B.Nazarov, M.Rasuliy, H.Abdullaev, K.Kuramboev, many scientists such as B.Kurbanboev have significant scientific works related to the topic. Also, literary relations have been studied to a certain extent in Karakalpak literary studies. Karakalpak literature, comparative literary studies or literary translation theory of scientists such as N.Japakov, M.Nurmukhamedov, Q.Maqsetov, Q.Boyniyozov, K.Mambetov, S.Bahadirova, Q.Jarimbetov, Q.Orazymbetov, Z.Bekbergenova, P.Nurzhanov there are scientific opinions about Karakalpak-Uzbek or Uzbek-Karakalpak literary relations in the field studies. The scientific and theoretical views of the mentioned scientists were also relied upon when writing the dissertation³.
The topic “Uzbek and Karakalpak literary relations” was defended as a candidate's thesis in the 70s of the last century⁴. This work of F.Madrahimov, consisting of two chapters, describes some forms of literary relations between Uzbek and Karakalpak literature before and after the October coup (folkloric relations, cooperation between xalfa, baxshi, Hamza’s social relations with Karakalpakstan , educational activity v.h) was studied to a certain extent based on the ruling ideology of the former Soviet system of that time.
In Karakalpak literary studies, some works on Karakalpak literature, comparative literary studies, and literary relations have been carried out, books have been published and theses have been defended⁵.
Despite the fact that some of the mentioned scientific works in world, Russian, Uzbek and Karakalpak literary studies, the published books were written based on the requirements of the politics and ideology of the Soviet era, there are also scientific opinions, concepts, proposals and comments on the subject we are studying in the research, which can be used even today. Possibly that is why, in writing this dissertation, I relied on their important views, which have not lost their importance even today.
Relevance of the dissertation research with the plans of the scientific-research works of the higher educational or scientific research institutions where the dissertation has been conducted. Dissertation Ajiniyoz Nukus State Pedagogical Institute Scientific Research Plan on “Study of Uzbek Literature of the Independence Period and Current Issues of Literary Studies”, “Classical and Modern Literature of Karakalpak and the Ideology of Independence”, “Important Issues of Contemporary Philology”, as well as , UzR FA QQB, Karakalpak Humanities Scientific Research Institute FA-F-1-005 “Research of the History of Karakalpak Folklore and Literary Studies” (2017-2020) was carried out within the framework of fundamental research.
