2. Definition and classification of management methods
Management methods represent specific types of management, thus the way how it is the organization, resources and its processes managed. Management methods therefore significantly affect planning, organizing and the performarnce ofother managerial functions. They affect the management of either the whole organization (business) or its specific part (e.g. in an organizational unit). Methods of management - a set of methods and means of influencing the controlling subject on the controlled object to achieve certain goals. Organizational management methods are ways of influencing organizational relationships to achieve specific goals. Socio-psychological methods of management - methods of influencing the control object based on the use of socio-psychological factors. Economic management methods are methods of influence through the creation of economic conditions that induce employees of enterprises to act in the right direction and achieve solutions to the tasks assigned to them. Method - (from the Greek. Methodos - the way of research or cognition, theory of teaching) - a way to achieve a goal, to solve a specific problem;a set of techniques or operations of practical or theoretical mastering of reality. Management methods should contribute to the high performance of the organization. In fact, the methods of implementation of management activities used to set and achieve the goals of the organization act as methods of management. Solving this or that management problem, the methods serve the purposes of practical management, providing it with a system of rules, techniques and approaches that reduce the time and other resources spent on setting and implementing goalsAccording to the Impact motivation: material motivation, moral motivation, compulsory (power) motivation ---By organizational form: individual , collective, collegial. ---By scope: general- applied throughout the control system; local- applied to individual parts of the control system. ---By object of management: production management, people management, organization management, management of external relations
