7) Reports. The idea behind this sort of project is that 
students read a newspaper, magazine, or other source of 
information at home and then report back to the class on what 
they found most fascinating. They can also discuss what 
transpired in their daily lives. 
8) A story based on pictures. Students should narrate a 
tale based on a consistent series of photographs while paying 
attention to the language and structures that they will need to 
utilize throughout the narration in this sort of assignment. 
9) Description of the picture. Here the student is given 
one picture, which he must describe. Students can be divided 
into groups. Each group studies its own picture, and then a 
representative from each group describes it to the whole class. 
This type of activity develops creativity and imagination of 
students, as well as public speaking skills [8]. 
The following recommendations allow you to ensure 
the greatest efficiency from working with exercises: 
- it is important to provide students with the maximum 
opportunity to practice oral speech in the language being 
studied, creating appropriate conditions that would included 
collaboration, authentic material and assignments, etc.; 
- it is necessary to involve each student in each type of 
speech activity; 
- the teacher's speaking time in the classroom is 
needed and increase it for students; 
- it is important to point out the positive aspects when 
commenting on the student's response; 
- you can ask such complicated questions as “What do 
you mean?”, “How did you come to this conclusion?”; 
- it is important not to correct students' pronunciation 
mistakes too often during their oral speech, so as not to 
distract them.
