VIII (Khudaybergen)
The leaves are falling one by one
The sunny days will soon be gone.
Yellow, orange, brown and green,
The colours od autumn can be seen.
The wind, the rain, the sun shines through.
It’s colder now for me and you.
IX (Anna)
Goodbye, green. It’s time to go
Give other colors a chance to show.
You made me fool all summer long
But now it’s fall. Sun’s not as strong.
X (Nargiza)
Goodbye, green. The days grow dim
I feel a chill inside each limb
I feel the cold climb through my sap
Winter’s near near, and trees must nap.

Goodbye, green. Soon leaves will fly
They’ll drift away and wave goodbye.
But spring will come, new leaves will grow
And I shout: Green, Hello!

Autumn winds begin to blow
Coloured leaves fall fast and slow
Twirling, whirling all around
Till at last, they touch the ground.

Speaker 1: Once Noam Chomsky said: A language is not just words. It is a culture, a tradition, a unification of a community, a whole history that creates what a community is. It’s all embodied in a language. As we know, in 1989 on 21^st of October the Uzbek language received the status of the state language. This year marks its 33^rd anniversary.

Speaker 2: I totally agree with you. With languages, you are at home anywhere. That’s why we will give turn to poem about language.

I met a little girl
Who came from another land
I couldn’t speak her language
But I took her by the hand.
We danced together,
Had such fun
Dancing is a language
You can speak with everyone.
