PROSPECTS FOR INCREASING THE USE OF DOMESTIC WOOL FIBERS

A large amount of cotton is grown in Uzbekistan. Technological processes for the sale or processing of raw materials and the provision of quality and affordable products to the population are at the forefront. Livestock products also play an important role in the development of Uzbekistan economy. In this regard, the processing of meat and dairy products, as well as animal skins has been established. However, the results of the study show that the processing and use of animal hair in the country is carried out mainly in Bukhara, Samarkand, Kashkadarya and Tashkent regions.

One of the problems facing livestock breeders in Uzbekistan today is that most of the wool from their sheep is wasted. The main reason for this is the fact that sheep wool in Uzbekistan is coarse. In addition, most provinces do not have processing facilities for this raw material, or those that do have the capacity to process only part of the raw material. The capacity of processing enterprises is not enough. In addition, the efficient use of raw materials is not well established.
Many types of products can be made from coarse wool raw materials. Significantly, it can be used for many items necessary for daily life, such as household appliances, carpets, shoes, blankets, as well as an intermediate and heating layer in manufacturing plants. One of the main problems facing the industry is the production of new types of high-quality, consumer goods from coarse wool.
The activities of a number of enterprises in the Republic of Uzbekistan engaged in the initial cleaning, processing and production of various products of local wool were studied and scientific research was conducted.
We are conducting research to increase the use of domestic cross-breed sheep wool in the country. The number of animals in the country and the amount of wool fiber obtained from them were studied.
The following figure shows the number of animals in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Figure 1. Sheep and goats grown in the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan

In particular, the following figure shows the number of sheeps and goats in Fergana valley.

If average 1.8 kg of wool is obtained from one sheep in one shearing, 1.368 thousand kg of raw wool is obtained from Namangan region alone. If the wool is sheared twice a year, an average of 2.736 thousand kilograms of wool can be produced. Analysis of these data shows that sorting, separating and processing of wool fibers can increase the production of textiles by 1-2 times and increase the use of raw materials that are destroyed as waste. The world experience in the textile
industry shows that there are no unnecessary raw materials. The advantage is that it can undoubtedly be used in any field. Especially natural sheep wool is a raw material with unique properties.
The thickness of the wool fiber depends on the climatic conditions, and the wool fibers of the sheep in Uzbekistan, popularly known as “jaydari”, “kazakhs”, are coarse fibers. The processing of coarse wool is not fully developed in Uzbekistan.
Research has shown that when we visit several wool processing plants, we find that valuable raw materials are not used efficiently. This is due to the fact that existing equipment and technologies are obsolete and require the creation of new promising materials. This problem exists in almost all regions, and we plan to launch the production of a new range of yarn blankets and knitting purposes and heat- insulating materials for the needs of the population from unused raw materials.
To achieve these goals, we studied the potential of manufacturing enterprises in Uzbekistan and agreed to use the equipment of the small yarn producing factory “Murodu Hamkor” and the production of thermal insulation materials in the small enterprise "Sintipon sanoat servis" in Pop district.
