Pygmalion Archetype Elements of the Pygmalion Archetype: - The Creator: sees fault in all women and tries to make a “perfect” woman.
- The Creation: the person being transformed or “created.”
- The relationship between the Creator and his Creation: in the myth, they are married and live happily ever after.
- Transformation: the creation comes to life or changes in some way.
- External Force: in the myth, this is Aphrodite who makes the statue come to life. The external force would be any force other than the creator that causes the creation to transform.
