provided with the necessary infrastructure. This is one of the biggest obstacles and problems
preventing the full functioning of these zones.
The President's decision was the next important step in solving the above problems, expanding
the existing opportunities in economic and small industrial zones, improving the business
environment in our country, and supporting foreign and domestic entrepreneurs. According to the
decision, an address program and a list of engineering and communication infrastructure objects will
be formed, and 1.6 trillion sums will be allocated in 2021, and an additional 1.8 trillion sums will be
allocated for the same purposes in 2022.
This is the reason why, on May 12 of this year, during the meeting of the video selector, which
was held under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in connection with
the analysis of the indicators of the first quarter for ensuring economic growth in regions and sectors,
as well as the discussion of the priorities of the current year, the need for economic growth was
emphasized, first of all, of energy resources. According to the analysis, in order to fully meet the
needs of industries, entrepreneurs and the population, in the second quarter, «Uzbekneftgaz» will
produce 9 billion cubic meters of natural gas and 165 thousand tons of liquefied gas, and a total of
15.5 billion kilowatts of elect energy in the «Issiklik elektr stansiyalari» and «Uzgidroenergo»
systems. Industries such as electrical engineering, textiles, leather-shoes, construction materials, and
pharmaceuticals have all the opportunities to ensure high growth rates. Effective use of them opens
the way to economic growth [3].
