Introduction
Free economic zones have a special role in ensuring comprehensive
and effective use of
production and resource potential of the regions of our country, development of transport, engineering
and communication and social infrastructure.
Today, 23 free economic zones and 348 small industrial zones are operating in our country, and
as a result of the implementation of 453 projects with a total value of 2.6 billion dollars, about 36
thousand jobs have been created in them. In small industrial zones, 1,497 projects worth 5 trillion
sums have been launched and employment of more than 36,000 people has been provided.
Of course, this is a essential situation. However, there are some problems for local and foreign
investors to fully start their activities in these zones, which affect the implementation of promising
projects by new investors and entrepreneurs.
At the meeting held on April 27 of this year in connection with the discussion of the investment
projects implemented in the free economic zones and small industrial zones, special
attention was
paid to this issue, and specific tasks were defined to solve the problem that is bothering entrepreneurs
- infrastructure issues.
The decision of the head of our state «On measures to further
develop the engineering and
communication infrastructure of special economic and small industrial zones» is significant because
it is aimed at solving the problems that prevent the timely launch of investment projects in the territory
of free economic zones [1].
According to it, 1 trillion 600 billion sums will be allocated
this year to improve the
infrastructure of free economic and small industrial zones. Now 584 billion sums will be allocated
for the construction of additional electricity, gas, drinking water and sewage networks and highways
in 17 free economic zones, and 395 billion sums for 145 small industrial zones.
It should be said that the organization of industry
on an innovative basis,
the integration of
science,
education and production, the sustainable development of scientific-technological and
innovative entrepreneurship are today's priority tasks.

it is important to create
legislation and implement relevant measures aimed at the establishment of free economic zones and
