CHAPTER 2. METHODOLOGY OF RESEARCH OF FACTORS OF
ATTRACTIVENESS OF AGRICULTURAL TOURISM SERVICES

2.1. Description of the problem field and substantiation of the relevance of the study of attractiveness factors in agritourism
The successful solution of the problem of training qualified personnel for agrarian (rural) tourism in the Jizzakh region became largely possible due to the fact that they managed to create an effective platform for the implementation of mutually beneficial projects, a point of contact between the structures of the federal, regional, municipal level and the heads of rural settlements, heads of farms, K (F) X, rural population. For the further development of this educational project and the popularization of agrarian (rural) tourism among the population of the Jizzakh region, the relevant structures and partners of the university conduct training seminars, round tables, conferences, field classes, issue newsletters, leaflets, work is actively underway with the media, and from September 2012, training on the courses "Guest House Manager", thanks to the possibilities of the Internet, will become available to everyone, the site "E-Learning" will contribute to this.
To promote the above promising project with the methodological assistance of "AgroTourismAssociation", during 2012-2013. programs for short-term professional development and retraining of agribusiness personnel in the field of agritourism were developed, which, in particular, was discussed for the first time on April 28, 2012 in the round table "Development of agritourism in the region: problems and prospects".
Despite all the variety of training programs and growing demand, as a rule, all educational programs are based on general knowledge of management, marketing, etc. Of course, knowledge of the basics is an important part of the educational process, but the lack of knowledge about the consumer of the agrotouristic product makes this training one-sided and not tied to the real needs of agritourism farms. Of course, the developers of the programs should not be blamed for this, because it is the lack of research that prevents everyone from giving answers to the most interesting questions for them: what does a tourist need and what can attract him to a farm?
I would also like to note that despite the fact that agritourism is not a new phenomenon in the west, the scientific community has not long ago looked at this issue from the side of consumers. In publications devoted to this issue, one can notice certain periods of the development of this topic. At the very beginning, agrarian tourism (tourism on a farm) was considered by the authors as a new phenomenon of a sustainable direction for the development of tourism, later scientists began to talk about it as an opportunity to diversify agriculture and additional income for small farm enterprises, on this issue it was published a large number of works. The tendency of the last 5-7 years has become the marketing theme in works on agritourism, and the study of consumers of the service has become a completely new direction. Unfortunately, among the published works, we have not found more than one that completely coincides with our topic.
Certainly, you should not ignore the EuriGites study, which we wrote about earlier, but this work covers rural tourism in general, and as we have already proved, rural tourism is a very broad concept, which partially includes agricultural tourism. From all of the above, we can conclude that our research is relevant and its results can be claimed on the territory of Uzbekistan.
Before proceeding to the substantiation of the choice of the object of research for our work, I would like to conduct a small analysis of the state of development of agritourism in Uzbekistan in general. At the beginning, I would like to mention the features of the analysis carried out in this section. Unfortunately, in Uzbekistan, official statistics related to agritourism are not kept, and due to the lack of a legislative framework, various phenomena are often understood as agritourism: various types of recreation are included and objects according to different classifications are taken into account. In addition, semi-official statistics often speak of rural tourism in general and do not provide figures for agritourism in particular. All these factors affect the data, which are sometimes voiced by different sources for the same region. But we will try to present the most voluminous picture of the existing state of agritourism in Uzbekistan.
It will not be superfluous to clarify that not all regions are developing or intend to develop agritourism, and therefore information will be provided about those subjects of Uzbekistan where agritourism has already been developed, as well as those in whose plans its development is a priority. At the end, we will describe the Jizzakh region in more detail and give a rationale for the choice of this region.
Over the past ten years, tourism in Uzbekistan has made a huge leap forward in development. Below is a diagram of the types of tourism and their share in the Uzbek market, presented in the article by S.S. Gulyamov Scientific electronic journal "Economy and Innovative Technologies". № September 1, 2011 where there are no statistics on agritourism, but we know that this type of tourism exists in Uzbekistan.
