Database Project 4
(Local Not-For-Profit)
Goal: To develop, design, and implement a system to track funding,
memberships, and adoptions and relinquishments
Key data: personal identification data for adopter, adoptee,
relinquisher, contact information, dates, funding amounts
Biggest Challenge: Pulling data from two separate places to populate
the new database system. Data had to be collected from a manual
system of records and from an old database file containing a limited
number of data fields and reconciled between the two prior to
inclusion in the new system.
