Salohiddin Ayyubiy

In the middle of the 12th century, the people of Europe were living under tyranny and poverty. Both the barons and the poor hoped to go to the holy land (Jerusalem) for salvation. Pope Urban II, the absolute ruler over emperors and kings, called Christendom to crusade against the Muslims. After that, the army formed from the knights of the European countries went to the East. Three years later, the Crusaders captured Jerusalem and put all the Muslims in the city to the sword. The streets of the holy city were washed with blood that was shed for no reason. Historians called this massacre the “Medieval Genocide”.
