In almost every sentence we make in English, we need to use an article. Articles are small but important words that precede nouns, and by using them correctly you will distinguish yourself as a good English speaker. What is an Article?
The determiners a/an and the are called "articles". They are the most common of all determiners. They come at the very beginning of a noun phrase. We divide them into "indefinite" and "definite" like this:
