Improving the system of traffic management at crossings

Abstract 
Among the tasks for traffic arrangement, planning and management one of the most urgent tasks is the problem of assessing the 
influence of various factors on the feature to be studied. The paper analyzes the factors influencing the traffic flow, and 
information cycle between the strategic, planned and operational level of traffic management. The approach to the solution of the 
problem proposed in the paper using the correlation-regression analysis method combined with the use of geoinformation 
databases allows to determine a queue size at the crossings of the city street-and-road network (SRN) with its subsequent 
application in the operational management of the city traffic.
