Answer: Venice is the city which situated on the north-east coast of Italy.

2. What was the city famous for?

Answer: Venice is incredible city by virtue of having hundreds of small islands which were joined by bridges over the canals. Venice is a city on the water.

3. Antonio and Bassanio had ….. relationship.

Answer: Antonio wants to help Bassanio find the money he needs, but the cost is very high. then there is the story of two old enemies, Shlylock and Antonio: Antonio decides to ask Shylock for help, but Shylock sees his chance to take a terrible revenge.

4. Local people did not like to borrow money from Shylock, what was the reason?

Answer: He was mean and greedy. he loves money. he lent money with interest.

5. Bassanio wanted to marry Portia as he was in debt. Is this statement True or False? Explain your answer.

Answer: This statement is a bit discussing. Bassanio borrowed money from his friend Antonio. But Antonio did not consider as a debt. He just helped his friend.

Answer: The word "I" is Shlock and ''Him" is Antonio.

Answer: Taking a pound of his flesh from whatever part of Antonio's body that Shylock want.

First the prince of Morocco tried and he chose gold box. it was wrong box. Second Prince of Arragon tried. he chose the silver ond it was wrong box again. Finally, Bassanio came and chose the lead box and it was the right box. He found a picture of Portia inside it and he married her.

28.How do you think Antoni feels at the end of the play?

Answer: He was very grateful for young lawyers due to helping to win the court.

29. Why Shylock confessed his lost during the court process.

Answer: He had no way to win the court, so he agreed.
