Separate Lines
Given is a line graph illustrating data on how much fast food was eaten by teenagers in Australia over a quarter century between 1975 and 2000. Units are measured in number of times eaten per year.

Overall, it can be seen that there were considerable upward trends in the consumption of hamburgers and pizza, while the figure for fish and chips declined strikingly during the whole period.

Looking at details in terms of fish and chips, they started the period at 100 times a year in 1975. Despite experiencing a noticeable fall to almost 85 in five years, the indicator then recovered markedly to around 90 in 1985. Following this, there was a remarkable decrease, plummeting to just under 40 at the end of the time-scale.

Opening the period with about 10 times, level of hamburger consumption grew strikingly to practically 85 in 1985 which was followed by a marked growth to 100 in 2000.

Figure of approximately five times made pizza be the least popular type of fast food in 1975. Having risen sharply to 60 in 1990, the rate underwent a moderate improvement to 85, which levelled out untill 2000.
Combining two lines
Information regarding to the amount of junk food which was consumed by teenagers in Australia over a quarter century between 1975 and 2000 is the main illustration of the given line graph.

Overall, it can be seen that there were considerable upward trends in the consumption of hamburgers and pizza, while the figure for fish and chips declined strikingly during the whole period. Another interesting point is that despite being in the domineering position at the beginning of the period, the figure of fish and chips had been surpassed by that of others by 2000.

Looking at details in terms of hamburgers and pizza, indicators stood at about 10 and 8 respectively in 1975. In a decade, the figures for the former increased tremendously, rocketing to approximately 85, while the latter underwent a significant rise to 40. Australian teenagers consumed hamburgers 100 times in 1995 compared to pizza which was eaten nearly 85 times. Finally, not only the rate of hamburgers levelled out at 100 in the beginning of a new millennium, but also pizza finished the time-scale with a stability at 85.
