Should the government provide work conditions for schoolchildren grade 10 ?
Initially, I thought Government should not provide opportunities for students to work, because the more they learn, the less difficulty they see in their work. But on the one hand, I realized from the current situation that this idea is wrong, because nowadays there are more inexperienced employees in Uzbekistan. The reason for this first, after school, students are not given any opportunities to work and they spend most of their time doing useless things. Also it depends on students’ major, because there are professions that require experience and those that do not. This means there are professions that you can learn while working such as, administrative assistant, fire fighter, pharmacy technician and etc. These professions do not require professional excess experience. But there are some professions that require more experience and can not be mastered with just a high school diploma or bachelor’s degree. Example of these professions are doctor or medical assistants, the judge , prosecutor and several other jobs and in this professions you harm others without developing yourself, for example, doctors deal with human health and require more experience and knowledge. If they do not have enough experience and knowledge, they can harm people’s health.
If we look at other countries, just like England. In this country, students are allowed to work from the age of 13 under the control of the state, that is, the state has developed such a system that students are given when to work, how many hours they work and where they work. And through this system, the state teaches students to take an early step into independent life and that life is not too easy. As a result, students can help their families financially through this system and they have developed in every direction.
On the other hand, there are several downsides to this. First reason, after working they are tired and don’t like to do tasks given by school at night. Furthermore, after students start earning money, in most cases they don’t like to study and they go after money instead of studying as a result the number of qualified personnel will decrease. Also one of the disadvantages of this is that they do not have time to eat properly, which means they can skip meal times. Besides instead of eating healthy foods such as fruits or nutritious foods, working students often eat fast food that consists of low-quality foods.
According to European researchers, this system in some cases has a negative effect on students. They are include higher dropout rates, delayed graduation rates, and negative effects on academic performance. Researchers found that full-time workers spend less time on studying and schoolwork (Triventi, 2014) . Also according to Rajeev Darolia’s study, school truancy loans have a significant negative impact on students’ earnings, in addition, the negative impact of work is the lack of time for school activities and leisure time, which also harms general health (Darolia, 2014).
In my opinion, the government should create such a system that students should reciev education on time and should also work on average, that is, not too much or too little. If students get used to one strategy, work efficiency and their knowledge will increase sufficiently
