If Past.Ind.Perf. Fut.Perf. in the Past ш. э.г б.г If you had been here yesterday you would have met him. You would have done the translation yesterday if you had taken my dictionary.

CAN, MAY модал феъллари

If you try you can do this work. If he can come I shall be very glad. If my parents allow me I may go with you.

If you tried you could do this work. If he could come I should be very glad. If she could live in anywhere in the world she would live in India. If we had instruments we could finish the work tomorrow. If my parents allowed me I might go with you.

If you tried you could have done this work yesterday. If he could have come I should have been glad. If my parents had allowed me yesterday I might have gone with you.

1. 1-шарт эргаш гапларда эргаш гапнинг феъл-кесими should модал феъли билан ифодалаш мумкин.
Бунда иш-ҳаракатининг амалга ошишга имконият камлигини ифодалайди.
If comes I shall ask him about it.
If he should come I shall ask him about it.
Агар эргаш гапнинг феъл-кесими should билан ифодаланса, гапнинг маъносига деярли таъсир қилмайди.


2. Эргаш гапларнинг феъл-кесими will билан ифодаланиши мумкин. Бунда will кўмакчи феъл эмас, аммо модал феъл ҳисобланади ва истак, ўтинч ни ифодалайди.

3. 1-шарт эргаш гапларда бош гапнинг феъл-кесими буйруқ майлида туриши мумкин.
If he comes ask him to wait for me.
If you see him tell him to ring me up.


4. 1-шарт эргаш гапларга эҳтимолликни ифодалайдиган ҳозирги ёки ўтган замонга таалуқли бўлган гаплар ҳам киради.
If he is at school he is probably sitting in the library.
If he came testerday he probably took his book.

1. 2-шарт эргаш гапларда эргаш гапнинг феъл-кесими should, were to модал феъллари билан ифодаланиш мумкин, иккинчи гапнинг маъносига таъситр қилмайди.
If I saw him tomorrow I should ask him about it.
If I should see him tomorrow I should ask him about it.
If I were to see him tomorrow I should ask him about it.


2. 2-шарт эргаш гапларда эргаш гапнинг феъл-кесими would билан ифодалаши мумкин, аммо бу кўмакчи феъл бўлмай истак ва ўтинч ни билдирувчи модал фелдир.
