He has asked if Iwent there yesterday.
He said: «Did you see him yesterday?»
He asked if I had seen him the day before.


He said: «Will you help me tomorrow?»
He asked if we would help him the following day.


He has said: «Will you be free on Sunday?»
He has asked if I shall be free on Sunday.


He said: «Were you reading a book when I came in?»
He asked if I had been reading a book when he came in.
