7. Either . . . or . . . (ё . . . ёки . . . ибораси)
He is either in Tashkent or Samarqand.
Either you or I am on duty today.
Either they or we are on duty today.


8. Neither . . . nor . . . (на . . . на . . . ибораси).
Neither my pupils nor I was at school yesterday.
Neither I nor my pupils were at school yesterday.


9. Neither олмоши қисқа таъкид жавобларда ҳам қўлланилади.
a) Феъл-кесим бўлишсиз шаклда бўлганда:
-I am not a student.
-Neither am I. (Neither is he . . .)
-I don’t like to go to school.
-Neither do I.
-I didn’t see him yesterday.
-Neither did I.
-I can’t find him.
-Neither can I.
b) Феъл-кесим бўлишли бўлиб, no, never, seldom, hardly, scarcely barely, rarely каби равишлар билан аниқланганда ҳам neither олмоши қўлланилади.
-I can hardly speak English.
-Neither can I.
-She seldom comes here in time.
-Neither does her friend.
-I had hardly finished my work when the teacher came in.
-Neither had she.


PRONOUN “ONE”
“ONE” ОЛМОШИ


1. One олмоши олмош-от вазифасида қўлланилади. One олмоши шахси ноаниқ гапларда эга вазифасида қўлланилади.
One can find this book everywhere.
One never knows what is he doing in Tashkent.
One must knows one’s duties.
One should be careful crossing the street.


2. One олмоши олдин эслатилган бирлик ва кўплик сондаги отларни такрорламаслик учун қўлланилади.
We, have not got a TV set, we must buy one.


3. One-олмоши олдин такрорланган отни иккинчи марта the артикли билан такрорлаш шарт бўлса, унинг ўрнига one олмоши ҳам the артикли билан қўлланилади.
