To succeed in a business, one needs to know math’s. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It has been suggested that knowledge of mathematics help to achieve high results in business. Although not everyone will side with me in this regard, I entirely agree with the statement.

Those whose position is contrary to mine come up with a couple of reasons to justify the position they hold. First and foremost, they believe that when running business, it is more important to know how to manage employees than to know mathematics. Because you can recruit a person who knows math’s. In addition to this, they argue that, knowing more languages is more useful for a businessman than knowing mathematical skills. The reason is that he will be able to find international partner and further expand his activities and get higher profits. Even though I see their point, it is not solid enough to convince me that I am wrong.

Turning to my opinion regarding the matter, I have three reasons for my substantiation. Firstly, knowledge of mathematics gives the ability to analyze the financial situation of a business. Because if a businessman enters into a contract without knowing his financial situation, it may have negative consequences for him. Secondly, Mathematics is not just about numbers. Knowing it makes it easier to get out of difficult situations. For example, it can make it easier to find ways to maintain own position in the market and competition conditions that may arise in business. Finally, a leader with high math ability can study the market. That is, he can create new products with high benefits based on supply and demand conditions. Hopefully, arguments suffice to prove my rectitude.

On the basis of everything that has been articulated, I can confidently express my agreement with the statement albeit the skepticism of some.

Some people think that teachers at school are responsible for children’s intellectual and social development than parent. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

While many people believe that teachers are responsible for the development of

children’s intellectual knowledge at school, others think that parents are responsible for social culture. Although I wholeheartedly agree with the idea that teachers are in charge of intellectual development of children, I cannot attribute the same position to the social formation of the young.

I see two concrete reasons why it must be teachers’ responsibility to provide children with knowledge. Firstly, intellectual knowledge is acquired in school and it is for this reasons that teachers do a lot of theoretical work with children. That is, children receive only theoretically knowledge during lessons at school and they do not have extra time to improve life skills. As the second reason, we can say that every person has own duties in this life, including teachers and parents. Parents’ priority must be to nurture children, while teachers’ educate. We know that when children go to school, a social skills begin to form in them. And the purpose of going to school is to acquire intellectual knowledge.

However, it is indubitable that parents have a greater role to play when it comes to the social development of a child. First of all, parents spend more time with their children than they spend in school. So that, life concerns are mainly discussed with parents and therefore they have more chance to help youngsters with social skills. Furthermore, parents can be role models for their children in a wide range of social situations. For example, children go with their parents to many parties, meetings and similar events. This is when they behave just like their parents. Thus, their social skills increase.

On the basis of everything that has been articulated, it can be deduced that both teachers and parents have their own responsibility for the growth of children.
