Organizing scientific seminars and lectures:
First Meeting in every year is the scientific seminar traditionally, where each member our SPIE Student Chapter tells about the scientific interests and researches (5-10 min). In this year we organized series of lectures on Spectroscopy (5 lectures). Lectors are professors from Spectroscopy Division of IAO SB RAS. At the meeting were also invited post-graduate students and research workers. We also have plans to organize a series of lectures on Remote Sensing or Wave Propagation, as name of Divisions at our Institute. It was organized the scientific meeting devoted a discussion of annual work of young institute staff. In the final part of the meeting the Secretary of SPIE Student Chapter Lidia Bolbasova presented a report about work of the chapter and called to join the SPIE Student Chapter IAO SB RAS. During International Young Scientists School «Physics of the environment» the meeting with cosmonaut Vladimir Aleksandrovich Dzhanibekov has been organized. Dzhanibekov was Russian Astronauts who made five flights ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Dzhanibekov , http://www.spacefacts.de/english/bio_cosm.htm ).
The meeting held on board the ship Aleksandr Matrosov cruising on the River Yenisei. It was very very interesting meeting!
