Tashkent University of Information Technology 040-21 group student Yuldashev Khursand’s 1-Presentation of EnglishTheme: Multimedia in our lifePlan: 1. About multimedia 2. telecommunications 3. Multimedia in our lifeMultimedia is a form of communication that combines various forms of content, such as text, audio, images, animation, or video, into a single interactive presentation, unlike traditional media that practically do not interact with users, such as printed materials or audio recordings. Popular examples of multimedia include video podcasts, audio slideshows, and animated videos.Multimedia can be recorded for playback on computers, laptops, smartphones and other electronic devices, either on demand or in real time (streaming). In the early years of multimedia, the term "rich media" was synonymous with interactive multimedia. Over time, hypermedia extensions brought multimedia to the World Wide Web.The term multimedia was coined by singer and artist Bob Goldstein (later "Bob Goldstein") to promote the July 1966 opening of his show "Lightworks at L'ursin" in Southampton, Long Island. Goldstein may have been acquainted with an American artist named Dick Higgins, who two years ago discussed a new approach to art, which he called "interlude".Although the term did not exist yet, the idea of multimedia could be traced back to the time when 19th-century composer Richard Wagner believed in the concept of Gesamtkunstwerk, which means "a complete work of art". Wagner sought to combine several types of art - opera, drama, music - to create an ideal synthesis on stage.Multimedia presentations can be viewed by a person on stage, projected, transmitted, or played locally using a media player. The broadcast can be a live or recorded multimedia presentation. Broadcasts and recordings can be both analog and digital electronic media technologies. Digital online media can be downloaded or streamed. Streaming media can be live or on demand. Multimedia games and simulators can be used in a physical environment with special effects, with multiple users on an online network, or locally with an autonomous computer, gaming system, or simulator.Various formats of technological or digital multimedia can be designed to improve the user experience, for example, to facilitate and accelerate the transfer of information. Or in entertainment or art, combine a variety of artistic ideas that incorporate elements from various art forms to attract, inspire or captivate an audience.Download 72.91 Kb.
