Three types of RNA have been identified in the cell:
1. Infortsion RNA or I-RNA
2. Transport RNA or T-RNA
3. Ribosome RNA or R-RNA
Information RNA is synthesized from a portion of DNA in the cell nucleus. Viewing of the I-RNA molecule occurs according to the location of the nucleotides recorded in the DNA molecule ( according to the program written in the DNA ). DNA plays the role of a matrix in the synthesis of a protein molecule , but I-RNA carries the information (inshaclation) in the middle .
I-RNA synthesized in the nucleus then travels to the ribosome in the cytoplasm. Ribosomes can be said to be small factories that synthesize protein .
A brief diagram of protein synthesis in a cell can be thought of as follows :
Figure 4
T-RNA delivers the amino acids needed to build a protein molecule to the ribosome . Activation of amino acids occurs under the influence of ATF . The ATF energy, amino acids and ATP combined with the amino special aminotsil-RNA enzyme catalysts sintetaza. Activated amino acids bind rapidly to T-RNA, and a specific protein is synthesized in which the iRNA code is specific to the organism. Each amino acid carrier has a specific T-RNA.
So far, 20 different amino acids have been identified. They are named as follows.
