INTRODUCTION (abstract of master's thesis)
Relevance and necessity of the dissertation topic. Since the second half of the 20th century, the countries of the world have developed artificial drugs synthesized by many chemical methods against human diseases, and until now such drugs are used to restore human health. Article 55 of Chapter XII "Economic Foundations of Society" of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan states that "Subsoil resources, water, flora and fauna and other natural resources are common national wealth, it is necessary to use them wisely and they are under state protection." There are 4,100 plant species in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, of which more than 3,000 species are wild plants. 350 types of food, 1700 types of fodder, 600 types of medicinal, 650 types of essential oil, 150 types of dyes, 270 types of decorative, 400 types of spices, and 100 types of saponin substances are used in this plant. However, an irresponsible attitude towards the preservation of flora and their unreasonable use will lead to their sharp decline or even extinction. In 1991, 163 types of plants were included in the "Red Book" of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and by 1999, the number of plants included in the "Red Book" reached 301. The main reason for this is the preparation of wild plants as raw materials for various purposes or the mass collection of ornamental species. There is a huge demand for wild medicinal and food plants in Uzbekistan and around the world. Until 1992, several state organizations, joint ventures and individuals were engaged in the preparation of medicinal and nutritious wild plants in our republic. Harvest volumes, resource planning and ecological balance in the flora are not provided with a scientific basis. As a result of determining the volume of preparation of medicinal and feed raw materials, the stock of other types of plants, such as kazilmia, andiz, zirk, sarichchoi, chirmovgul, ephedra, and others is sharply decreasing. In order to preserve plant resources, a number of legislative documents governing their use have been adopted.
