CONCLUSION

  1. Teaching English as a foreign language for adults has long determined changes in the pedagogical methods and continues to do so. What is important is that the focus has changed from teacher-centered classes to learner-centered classes. This method foresees new approaches Especially for the teacher.

  2. Video is a future-oriented form of learning English. Improving conditions in universities, result in having well-equipped classroom enabling using various forms of multimedia. Currently, there are many students that need motivation in learning and as they are surrounded by multiple stimuli every day, they have to learn in the same way. Teachers need to realize that they need to go away from traditional teaching and use the tools that involve different senses. The teachers indicate the number of the advantages from using video in the classroom. First of all, they think that computers are a wonderful tool, and together with the Internet enable easier and faster communication, which in turn results in and leads to acquiring target language in easier way. The next advantage seen by teachers is that they observe increased willingness by English learners participation in the classroom. The third advantage is that teaching in combination with multimedia is undeniably more effective. Video is undoubtedly a good form of learning the language, nevertheless as each method has disadvantages. The biggest disadvantage in the multimedia-enhanced classroom is that the material has to be carefully selected due to students' needs. Moreover, it requires earlier preparation by the teachers as sometimes inappropriate language may be used, wrong content, or the level of the difficulty.

  3. There are many effective ways of gaining the knowledge that can help students. For this paper, as a researcher we used PPT, cooperative learning, group works and videos as a teaching strategy. Since videos are rich resources in real life contexts and provide a wealth of contextualized linguistic, authentic information, including different native speaker voices, stress, and accents. Moreover, topic based videos, music are more motivating for learning.

  4. This project work can help to create the teaching aids, handouts, etc. Teachers and students are welcome to use the results of this work for further investigation and practical work.

  5. Thus, the use of video has numerous advantages in teaching a foreign language. It helps learners develop critical thinking and problem solving skills; improve the students organizational skills; enhance communication skills; train managerial communication skills such as holding a meeting, negotiating a contract, giving a presentation. The authentic materials are important tools for use in ESP classes for, as we have clearly shown, they motivate and immerse learners in specific areas of the target language in which practice is needed. As we have tried to demonstrate, authentic materials can be obtained from many different sources but there is a growing tendency to take them from the internet as teachers need to renew their materials constantly and to adapt them to the changing needs of students. Finally, it is important to point out that while ESP learners often have radically different levels and standards of language ability, the higher their level of language, the more will they profit from their learning process.

  6. Video force students into real-life situations to require them to get involved in managerial communication. They also enhance the listening/cooperative learning skills; encourage collaborative learning and team-working skills in the language learner; get learners to think and brainstorm, connect theory and practice. Case study method builds partnership collegiality among learners and teacher, and gets students to be active, not passive.
