According to CEFR learners of level A2 can understand short, simple texts containing the highest frequency vocabulary, including a proportion of shared international vocabulary items. Also, they can understand very short, simple texts containing the highest frequency vocabulary, including a proportion of shared international vocabulary items.
Phonetics is a branch of linguistics that studies speech sounds.
There are three branches of phonetics.



Articulatory phonetics deals with production of speech sounds.

Acoustic phonetics is about the way or means of sound transmition from one to another.

Auditory phonetics studies
how sounds are perceived

Articulation of sounds

It contains the study of production of sounds by humans. This process can be carried out by vocal organs, like lungs, teeth, tongue and others. (Yavas, M. (2016). There are active and passive vocal organs in the production of sounds.
