The purpose of the work is to illustrate the importance and necessity of skill integration in developing linguistic competence through teaching sport idiomatic expressions. The work provides opportunities to integrate current knowledge and beliefs of language teaching and learning with new approaches and methods gained during the course. In this paper we will try to explore some effective ways of teaching sport idiomatic expressions through integrating listening, speaking, reading and writing in the classroom, by expressing new ways of understanding language teaching, lesson design, classroom observation, types of assessment and role of feedback.
