2. Internal and external factors determining the emergence and development of information technologies.
It is known that information technology is a set of methods and means of collecting, storing, transmitting and processing information. There are internal and external factors that determine the emergence and development of information technologies, which can be described as follows.
• internal factors - the emergence (creation) of information, its types, properties , performing various actions with information, their collection , transmission, storage, etc.
• external factors - this means the implementation of various tasks with information through technical and hardware tools of information technology.
The use of modern information technology tools depends on the skills and abilities of users in communicating with them. Therefore , it is important to first learn what modern telecommunication means are. The possibilities of modern telecommunication tools are a very wide system, which includes a number of new concepts in addition to the known computer, multimedia means , computer networks, Internet. These can be examples of information systems , information systems management, information transfer systems , data warehouse, data warehouse management system, knowledge warehouse, etc. Modern information technologies accelerate all stages of educational processes. Based on the use of information technologies, it is possible to observe the increase in the quality and efficiency of the educational process , the activation of students' cognitive activities, and the deepening of interdisciplinary relations. Methodological goals that are important from the point of view of didactics, and which are achieved through the introduction of information technologies:
• individualization and differentiation of the teaching process ;
• control of educational activities with feedback;
self-control;
• training in the process of mastering the educational material and organization of independent training ;
• saving study time;
• visualization of educational information through a computer;
• modeling of studied events and processes ;
• performing laboratory exercises on a computer;
• creation and use of an information database;
• increase interest in reading ; • arming the student with a strategy for mastering the learning material;
• development of thinking;
• formation of optimal decision-making skills ;
• formation of information culture in the student can be included.
