INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis)
The aim of the research work is to uncover the problems of historical truth
and artistic interpretation through the study
of historical and literary, popular
science and fiction works of German-language literature about Ibn Sino, Biruni,
Amir Temur and Babur.
The object of the research work – Separate historical, literary, and popular
science works created in German-language literature of the 17th-21st centuries are
identified.
Scientific novelty of the research work:
the entry and evolutionary formation of the literary traditions of
the East into
German-language literature is proved;
it is argued that in the libretto of the German writer K. Postel "Temur and
Bayazid" the image of Amir Temur appears not only as an image of a cruel and
cold ruler, but also as a condescending,
generous person;
through a comparative study of historical and contemporary works of
German writers I. Goethe, K. Edschmid, K.Frank. T.
Nagel the reasons for the
biased approach to the personality of Sahibkiran as a terrible conqueror and cruel
ruler have been identified;
poetic skills, socio-political views and creative individuality of the authors in
creating images of Amir Timur and
Babur Mirzo have been revealed;
new facts about statehood and succession, reflected in the works of M.
Pravdin, "The Sultanate that emerged from nothing" and F. Wertlenin, "Babur -
Tiger", namely, the bequest of the throne of India to Hindol have been established.
