The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
Hydrological posts in the villages of Khudoydodsoy, Naizatokay, Ters and 
Charvak of the Chatkal River were formed on the basis of average long-term data 
on water consumption, years with interruptions in the series of observations were 
restored; 
The created database was subjected to statistical processing, data for years 
without observational data was restored and a long-term continuous data series was 
created, the presence of time trends was identified and, if any, eliminated; 
Data series of average long-term water consumption were tested for 
homogeneity using the Fisher and Student criteria, which are widely used in most 
hydrometeorological studies; 
The average long-term water consumption was calculated from the 
distribution of the Gumbel reserve (for extreme values); 
Long-term fluctuations of average long-term water consumption are 
calculated on the basis of the tool of difference-integral curves (DIC); 
The annual distribution of the studied river runoff was calculated for various 
conditions (dry, high-water, and low-water years); 
Patterns of formation of surface water resources and formation of 
groundwater runoff, their relationship were calculated and compared using the 
HBV hydrological model. 
Implementation of research results. Based on the results obtained for the 
study of the features of the Chatkal River: 
The results of this study were used in updating topographic maps of the 
Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in the cartographic center at 
the MODUz; 
The results of calculations of the average long-term water discharge for 
various supply conditions are applied, when predicting the expected water 
discharge along the river. Chatkal for high-water, low-water and medium-water 
years, when planning special tactical exercises; 
In the state institution "Cartographic Center" of the Ministry of Defense of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan, in the process of creating special topographic maps of 
river basins, an act was drawn up on the acceptance and implementation of the 
results of the dissertation.

The relevant certificate Yu/626 dated April 7, 2022 was received from the 
Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan. 
Approbation of research results. The results of these studies were discussed 
and approved at international, republican and university conferences, including: 5 
international and 3 national scientific conferences. the work has also been 
published in 5 international journals and 4 local scientific journals. 
Publication of research results. In total, 16 scientific papers were published on 
the topic of the dissertation, including 4 articles at conferences indexed on the 
basis of Scopus, 9 articles in scientific journals recommended for publication of 
the main scientific results of dissertations by the Higher Attestation Commission of 
the Republic. Uzbekistan, including 4 in domestic and 5 in foreign journals, 3 
published at international conferences
