INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis)
The aim of the research work is to selecting type of optimal tires for cotton-
growing tractor and reduce soil compaction based on study their effect on it.
The object of the study is the soil of cotton row spacing, the tires of driving
wheels of cotton-cultivation tractor, non-deformable solid base
and deformable soil
condition on which the movement of tires.
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows:
method for selecting tires was developed, taking
into account the tractor
wheel formulas, agrotechnical requirements for tires, and the impact they have on
the soil;
the influence of the tire of cotton-cultivation tractor on soil compaction and
tracks depth in it is determined in terms of the speed of aggregate movement and
the tire
inflation pressure;
rational type of tire for cotton-growing tractors substantiated with
consideration for influence of the width of tire profile and inflation tire pressure on
compaction of soil;
analytical dependences were obtained to determine
the indicators impacts of
cotton-growing tractor tire on soil and their optimal parameters;
determined depending on speed of the aggregate, as well as parameters of tire
and soil properties, the impact of selected tire of the established cotton tractor on
the soil;
