INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis) 
 
The aim of the research work is to improve the technology of nuclear-
physical methods of study of regularities of water distribution in the active layer of 
soil in the irrigation of cotton collector drainage water. 
The Objects of research are grasslands of Syrdarya region, as well as surface 
and ground water, collector-drainage systems and water.
