-to raise awareness of the pronunciation of the sounds

  1. The beginning of the lesson. (greeting, duty’s information) (3m)

  2. Revising the material in the previous lesson.(PP will revise colors, “I have…” structure) (8m)

  3. Introducing the new materials.(20m)



Activity1 .Listen and say.

(This activity can help PP to revise colors)



Twinkle, twinkle traffic light,
Shining on the corner bright.
When it’s green , it’s time to go.
When it’s red , it’s stop you know.
Twinkle, twinkle traffic light.
Shining on the corner bright,
“stop”,says the red light,
“Go” says the green,
“Wait” says the light yellow
Till the light is green.


Activity 2. Play “Red, yellow and green”

(In this activity we can use 3 color flashcards: red, yellow, green. Then the teacher should ask PP what these colors remind them. Of course it is traffic light. Then we should ask them what colors on the traffic light they stand, prepare and walk. And add two colors: blue and pink)


Activity 3 Play “What’s this”
(In this activity we can work on the pronunciation of the sound )



  • What’s this, what’s this?

  • It’s a ball, ball, ball,

  • What’s this, what’s this?

  • It’s a doll, doll, doll.

  • What’s this, what’s this?

  • It’s a plane, plane, plane.

  • What’s this, what’s this?

  • It’s a train, train, train.

Activity 6 Play “I have a ball”
(Firstly, teacher should explain to the PP that they should learn how to say what they have. For
example: “I have a ball”)

Today we have revised colors and structure “I have…” at the end of the lesson you are able to speak
about colors, toys,say what kind of toy you have at home ,besides you can pronounce the sounds

To paint on the right hand page
(we should explain to the PP that at home they should draw and color the pictures on the right page
and remember how the toys in the picture are called in English)
