The object of the research is the process of improving the quality of literary 
education in secondary schools based on the cluster approach. In the study, as an 
experiment, 1039 students of VIII-XIX grades from 7 secondary schools of 
Tashkent, Jizzakh, Samarkand and Kashkadarya regions took part. 
The scientific novelty of the research is as follows: 
methodological support for increasing the effectiveness of teaching literature 
in the system of lifelong education in the context of the educational cluster through 
the mutual integrative introduction of problem-based learning technologies into the 
content of pedagogical activities, serving for such skills and abilities as creative 
research, conducting small studies, making certain assumptions, substantiating the 
results, coming to certain conclusions, which presupposes the intensive formation 
of personality-oriented, competent and acmeological competencies of students
were improved
pedagogical capabilities of intersystem social partnership, such as empathy, 
trust, complementarity, openness, which affect the quality of education, giving 
priority to the continuity and portability of literary education on the basis of 
enhancing the educational impact of literature through ethno-pedagogical values, 
harmony of universal, national and cultural values of patriotism, personal example, 
morality, science, profession, were improved; 
a flexible model of the regional structure of literary education has been 
improved by optimizing such modern requirements in teaching literature in the 
system of lifelong education, such as scientific, systematic, consistent, traditional, 
innovative, to the learning environment based on a competence-based approach. 
the concept of the future teacher and the professiogram of the modern teacher 
of literature in literary education are developed on the basis of the priority of such 
modern paradigms of pedagogy as cognitive, personal, cultural and competence

The methods of applying modern pedagogical approaches (personality-
oriented, competent and acmeological) in secondary schools in literary education 
are improved on the basis of interactive educational requirements aimed at 
developing the skills of understanding, analyzing and discussing the text.
