Nina Mård 
is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies, Åbo Akademi University, Finland. Her 
current research interests are the development of multidisciplinary teaching and social science teaching in primary 
education.
Charlotta Hilli 
(PhD) works as a university lecturer in pedagogy at the Faculty of Education and Welfare Studies, Åbo 
Akademi University, Finland. Her research field includes distance education and General Didactics on different levels 
(primary, secondary, and higher education).
