Objective: to enable pupils to understand and write the times
Play the DVD. The pupils watch the clocks and the sounds atfirst. When they finish, you may ask some pupils what the sentences,for example, “It’s nine o’clock.” and “It’s nine thirty.”might be in the mother tongue. After you get satisfactory answers,play the DVD the second time having the pupils repeat thetimes in chorus. The third time they will write the times in theirWorkbooks on Page 47.
