Activity 4 Play “Bingo”.
Objective: to revise colours and toys
STEP 1: Ask the pupils to look at the “Colours Bingo” card onPage 13 and name the colours. Ask the pupils what other coloursthey remember. Ask them to put colour marks in the “ColourBingo” card in their Workbooks on Page 10. Say that they shouldcross out the colour they will hear. You can also play the DVD toshow how to do the activity correctly.
STEP 2: Begin announcing the colours, the pupils cross outthe colours they hear. When a pupil crosses out all colours in hiscard he must shout “Bingo!”. Check that all colours are correctlycrossed out.
Note:
If your pupils are slow in drawing instead of “Toys Bingo”you can play “ABC Bingo”. Ask the pupils to write any lettersfrom A to H and start the game.
Homework
Draw the pupils’ attention to Page 11 in their Workbooks. Saythat their homework is on this page. Ask whether the homeworkis clear to them. If necessary, explain that they should continuewriting the letters in Activity 1 and write the words in Activity2. Help them to read the words. Say that Activity 3 is optional:they can do it if they have time.
Explain that they should also continue writing the letters inActivity 3 on Page 10.
