Aims

Educational:- to learn two more letters:Ww and Xx;

- to practise Class 1 vocabulary(toys)

Developing:- to enable pupils to askand answer the question“What’s this?”

Socio-cultural:- to raise awareness ofthe pronunciation ofthe letters “W” and“X” sounds.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the lesson, pupils will be able to: - recognise, say and write the letter Ww and Xx;

- ask and answer the question “What’s this?”;

- recognise pronunciation of the letters “W” and “X” sounds.
