Optional Activity 4 Play “Cross the river”.

Objectives: to revise days of the week; to have fun.

Ask the pupils to look at the picture and say what they see there or play the DVD and ask what has happened. After you get satisfactory answers, say that they will play a game “Cross the river”. Explain that a “very angry’ crocodile will “eat them up” if they fall into the river. In order to cross the river safely they must jump and say all the days of the week. Say that if a pupil is in trouble his friends can help him.

Homework

Draw the pupils’ attention to Page 13 in their Workbooks. Ask whether the homework is clear to them. If necessary, explain. Also say that they should continue writing letters on Page 12. Draw the pupils’ attention to Homework Activity 2. Read thewords aloud and ask the pupils to translate the words into theirmother tongue. Then ask them to repeat the words after you.
