The aim of the lesson:
Educational: - to learn different countries and nationalities
Developing: - to expand the range of imagination
Socio – cultural: - to increase respect for other nations
Learning outcomes: by the end of the lesson school students will be able to: know other countries, phrases for nationalities and introduce themselves exactly, they will able to how can they say their motherland and nationality.
Type of the lesson: non standard, mixed
Equipment: handouts, presentations and other useful materials

II. Pre – activity
Activity 1 Listen 5 minutes
Objective: to introduce different countries with their flags
S tep 1: During the lesson, we need to show the students the flags of different countries and tell them how they are named. We must also say that the people in different countries are just like us, except that they are far from us, and their customs and language are different. Then we must distinguish the English speaking countries among several of countries, because our lesson is an English lesson. We also know that school students are ashamed to communicate with people in another country because of their lack of language skills. We need to improve their confidence in themselves step by step.


Step 2: In the second step, we need to encourage our new language learners that they should not be afraid of English and of course we should say when they love English this language will be easier for them. In a word, we need to give them motivation.


III Main part
Activity 2 Listen. 10 minutes
Objective: to introduce the structure “I’m from” “I am …..”

In this section we will give our students some music about nations and countries. This will help them improve their hearing and vision. Our students not only hear the nationalities but also see the people of this nation through our video clip. While watching the video, our students will repeat what video says. Then all students in the group speak their nationality in English.
