Every year we celebrate Independence Day. This year we celebrated the 28th anniversary of Independence. The Republic of Uzbekistan gained independence on August 31, in 1991. In this period we have developed almost every field, education, economy, culture, agriculture, sport, medicine and others. Uzbekistan has its own Constitution, state flag, anthem and emblem. It is situated in the Central Asia between two rivers the Amu- Darya and the Syr – Darya rivers. In the north-east it border on Kazakhstan, in the east and south-east on Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, in the west on Turkmenistan and in the south on Afghanistan.The state language is Uzbek.

My friend‘s name is Guli. She has a large family. It consists of 6 members. They are a mother, a father, two younger sisters, grandmother, and Guli. Her mother‘s name is Dildora Norova. She is 42. She is an accountant by profession. Dildora Norova is very a very nice and affective woman. His father is Davron Norov. He is a worker by profession. Lola and Salima are Guli‘s sisters. Lola is a 7th form pupil. Her sister Salima goes to the kindergarten. Guli‘s grandmother is a pensioner, but she is in a good health. She keeps the house and brings up her small granddaughter and does most of the cooking. She has an old age pension. Guli is a student of the Tashkent State Agrarian University. She is a first year student.
