Actuality of the research work:
The actuality of the research paper is suggesting the innovative ways of teaching a foreign language to promote communicative competence of ESP learners via integration of listening and speaking skills.
Object of the work is the process of introducing ESP materials in the higher educational institutions.
Subject of the research: combining listening and speaking skills to promote communicative competence in teaching ESP.
Aim of the research is to prove that listening and speaking both in practice phase in the classroom and in real communication entail unique features that result in real contribution to overall language learning.
In this work it is necessary to solve the following primary objectives:

  1. Theoretically to comprehend and approve in practice available modern approaches to develop communicative competence of ESP learners by integrating listening and speaking skills.

  2. To analyze the authentic teaching material, principles of its organization and teaching to foster communicative competence of ESP learners.

  3. To compare suggested approaches and techniques, to choose the most comprehensible and effective ones in developing communicative competence of ESP learners.

A brief analysis of the literature and legal documents used for the preparation of graduation work: For the preparation of this graduation work, the law on “Education”, “National Program for Personnel Training”, documents on “Higher Education”, “State youth policy” which are based on the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan and its educational articles as well as the works of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M.Mirziyoyev are included. These works highlight the need for the use of pedagogical and information technology in educational processes to enhance the effectiveness of the educational process.
