Information letter of the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference "Actual issues of 
world literature and comparative literature critical studies." 
 
 
On October 30, 2022, the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic “Actual 
issues of world literature and comparative literature criticism” will be held at the Uzbek State 
University of World Languages. 
Comparative literature criticism or comparative literature studies is a branch of science based on a 
comparison of two or more literary phenomena. The future of comparative literature is one of the 
most striking areas of science in our time, when international social, cultural and literary relations 
develop day by day. Any comparative study reveals general features and features of literary 
phenomena. This serves as the basis for the emergence of general inter-literature theoretical 
approaches. 
At the scientific and practical conference, the following issues will be discussed: 
- study the masterpieces of world literature; 
- theoretical and methodological problems of comparative literature criticism; 
- issues of comparative mythology and folklore; 
- Uzbek literature in the context of world literature; 
- relations of Uzbek and world literature; 
- translation - as an object of comparativeness; 
- prospects of translational criticism. 
It is planned to publish a collection of materials of the scientific and practical conference. The 
author is responsible for the reliability of scientific facts in articles. Articles are accepted in Uzbek, 
Russian and English. 
The text of the article is edited in A-4 format, leaving 2 cm at the top and bottom, 3 cm on the left 
and 1.5 cm on the right. After the name of the article follows a line, followed by the surname, name 
and patronymic of the author. The new line shows the name, position and address of the author’s 
email. Then 1 gap is left, and the text of the article is written after 5-6 lines from a new line in the 
amount of 5-6 pages. The electronic copy of the text should be in MS Word, Times New Roman, 14 
Kegel.

Articles are published by the collection at the expense of the authors. Payment: 50 000 soums for
